Bellville Tour

This is an 8-hour tour, beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. See the rough schedule below.

Bellville was established in 1848. The city is the county seat for Austin County. It has a rustic rural atmosphere, albeit with some unusual entities.

9:00 – 10:15 AM Drive from Houston to Newman’s Bakery in Bellville.
10:15 – 10:45 AM Use bathrooms and have snacks.
10:50  – 11:30 AM Tour The Blacksmith Shop/Phenix Knives.
11:35 – 11:50 AM Tour The Rocking ‘B’ Cowboy Supply.
11:50 – 1:20 PM Tour the Austin County Jail and the town, including possibly an old German beer hall.
1:30 – 3:00 PM Tour the Newman Castle and have lunch.
3:15 – 3:45 PM Tour the Austin County Square of Shops.
3:45 – 5:00 PM Drive from Bellville to Houston.
