Baytown Tour
Learn about the three towns of Pelly, Goose Creek, and Baytown that came together to form this city, in 1948.This is a 7-hour tour, beginning at 9:00 and ending at 4:00 PM. See the rough schedule below
| 9:00 – 9:45 AM | Drive from Houston to Baytown utilizing a ferryboat. |
| 9:45 – 10:15 AM | Tour the 450-acre Baytown Nature Center with its Crystal Bay Butterfly Garden and Myra C. Brown Bird Sanctuary in the former Brownwood subdivision. |
| 10:30 – 10:45 AM | Tour Lee College. |
| 10:45 – 10:55 AM | Drive through downtown. |
| 11:00 – 11:45 AM | Visit the Baytown Historical Museum located in the historic former post office decorated with WPA murals. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On Sunday and Monday, visit the old Wooster School #38 from 1894, relocated to the Republic of Texas Plaza Park. It is believed to be the oldest former one-room wooden frame schoolhouse in Harris County. |

| 1:00 – 3:00 PM | Tour the Yepez Vineyard. It is generally open Friday through Sunday. On days that the winery is closed, one can tour Morgan’s Point where the Ross Sterling mansion is located. |
