Presidential Tour C

On this nine-hour tour, we see:

  • The Houstonian Hotel, where George Bush (1924 – 20??) said he lived in room 271 during his presidency.
  • Past homes of George Bush, the 41st President (1989 – 1993).
  • The current neighborhood where former President George Bush lives.
  • The site of the 1928 Democratic presidential national convention.
  • The building of the 1992 Republican presidential national convention.
  • The burial site of Texas's last President (1844 – 1846), Anson Jones (1798 – 1858) who committed suicide.
  • The home where Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) (1908 – 1973), the 36th President (1963 – 1969) lived in 1930 – 1931.
  • The location of the capital of the country of Texas from 1837 to 1840.
  • The site at 1302 Preston Street where Sam Houston (1793 – 1863) lived while he served as President from 1836 to 1838.  He later served again as president from 1841 to 1844.
  • We also visit the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station.
